With Deepest Sympathy We Announce the Passing of PDP Louise Hyde




Mildred Louise Hyde, 88 of Shelburn Indiana passed from this life on

Monday, October 14th, 2024 at the Waters of Sullivan Indiana. She was

born in Vincennes Indiana on July 27th, 1936 the daughter of Ned and

Mildred Baldwin Crowley. After graduation she married her loving

husband, George Hyde.

Louise was a wonderful, loving and affectionate wife, mother and

grams. Her life revolved around her 8 children and grandchildren. She

was an excellent baker, cook, and homemaker. She leaves behind

many memories of sitting around the table to share one of the her

many talents.

Louise was well known for her dedication to the Shelburn Stewart-

Norris American Legion Auxiliary Unit#197 (a member of 53 years -

PUFL) of the 7th District Department of Indiana. She held many Offices

and Chairmanships for the Unit and District, as well as serving as

American Legion Auxiliary Department of Indiana President for the year

2000 – 2001.

Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband, George Hyde;

children, Wayne Hyde, Linda and her husband Eddie Seay, Jennifer

Hyde; Grandson, Gene Hyde, and son-in-law, Kim Cox.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Bill Hyde,

Mark Hyde, Cheryl Cox, Bonnie Chambers, and Tenneal Woodruff along

with 13 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren,

friends, and extended family.

Services will be graveside, on Friday October 18th, 2024 at the Little

Flock Cemetery in Shelburn, In. with the Pastor Dick Smith officiating.
